These terms apply to all services purchased directly or indirectly online, via mobile or tablet, via email, or by phone.

Credit Card

Payment is processed through a secure payment gateway provided by Go n’ Pay. Your credit card details are not stored by us and are not known to us. Payment (capture) takes place at the time you complete the transaction.

All amounts are in DKK (Danish kroner) and include VAT.

In case of credit card fraud or unauthorised use of your credit card by a third party, please contact your bank. Please also contact us immediately by email (info@brondbykoreskole.dk) — please write “credit card fraud” in the subject line.

Package Offer

Since the package includes a discount, the full amount must be paid by Visa/Dankort/Mastercard/MobilePay/bank transfer.

Extra driving lessons beyond those included in the package are agreed and paid for separately at the driving-lesson rate in force at the time.

Individual Sales

The full amount is paid at the time of booking.

Refunds

The statutory package is valid for 12 months.

If you no longer wish to continue your training at Brøndby Driving School after paying the full amount, the paid sum will be refunded as follows:

After starting the theory course:

The paid amount minus DKK 3,500 + DKK 500 administration fee.

After the manoeuvre track:

The paid amount minus DKK 6,000 + DKK 500 administration fee.

After starting the first driving lesson on the road:

After the first on-road driving lesson, the paid amount is refunded minus DKK 6,000 + DKK 500 administration fee, less the number of driving lessons already taken on the road at the driving-lesson rate in force at the time. If the deduction exceeds the actual amount paid, no refund is owed. In disputes, the maximum amount refunded cannot exceed the actual amount paid.

Any refund claim must be submitted to Brøndby Driving School no later than one year after the first payment date (the date shown on your order/invoice). After this, no refund can be claimed.

Cancellation of Driving Lessons

A driving lesson must be cancelled by 12:00 noon the day before. Lessons on Mondays must be cancelled by 12:00 noon the preceding Friday. A driving lesson not cancelled in time must be paid for. If you do not bring your logbook/lesson book, or if you are under the influence of alcohol or narcotics, you will be refused driving. The driving lesson MUST still be paid to your instructor.

Manoeuvre Track: Pause Rules — Cancellation

The manoeuvre track is valid for 3 months, provided that you have been having driving lessons on the road. This means that if you have completed the manoeuvre track but have not driven on the road for more than three months afterwards, you must complete the manoeuvre track again at your own cost.

Cancellation must be made at least 5 working days in advance, or with a medical certificate. If you do not cancel in time or fail to show up, you must pay again — see prices under individual sales.

Slippery-Surface Track: Pause Rules — Cancellation — Denied Access

The slippery-surface track is valid for 1 year, provided that the driving training is not interrupted.

Cancellation must be made at least 7 working days in advance, or with a medical certificate. If you do not cancel in time or fail to show up, you must pay again — see prices under individual sales.

You must have completed the slippery-surface theory before attending the track. If you have not completed Theory 8 according to the lesson plan, and if signatures are missing in your logbook/lesson plan, you may be denied access to the slippery-surface track. This involves rebooking and repaying for the track — see prices under individual sales on the website.

Your Responsibility — Incomplete or Incorrectly Filled-In Documents — Missing Signatures

It is always the student’s own responsibility to bring all documents signed and complete to the respective institutions, authorities, and during driving and theory lessons. If your documents are incomplete, e.g. missing signatures, you risk not being able to complete the planned course — for example the manoeuvre track, slippery-surface track, driving lessons, theory lessons, theory test, or practical test.

Denied access due to incomplete or incorrectly filled-in paperwork — for example for driving lessons, manoeuvre track, slippery-surface track, theory test, or practical test — means rebooking and therefore repayment according to the price list (see under individual sales on the website).

Liability for Damage to Vehicle Instruments and Equipment

It is the student’s responsibility to treat the driving school’s vehicles with care and to follow the instructor’s instructions.

If the student, through gross negligence or misuse of the vehicle’s interior, instruments or equipment, causes damage, the student may be held liable for the cost of repair or replacement of the damaged parts.

Liability does not include external damage to the car, since the instructor is the driver during practice driving.

Liability During the Practical Test

During the practical driving test, the student is considered the driver of the vehicle and is therefore liable for any damage that may occur during the practical test.

The student must pay the excess on the vehicle’s comprehensive insurance. If the total cost of the damage is less than the excess, the student covers the actual repair costs.

Pause Rules

If you take a break of more than 3 months, you must start over. This also means that you must pay again. (All pause rules are suspended due to Covid-19.)

Students Under 18 Years of Age

If the student is under 18 years of age and therefore not of legal age, the parental authority holder(s) must consent to these terms and are therefore liable for the financial obligations associated with the student taking the driving licence at the school. If the student buys a statutory package, the parental authority holder(s) are liable for the outstanding amount, since the student is not yet of legal age.

When you start at the driving school, you will receive two consent forms, which the parental authority holder(s) must sign — one for the driving licence application (the Danish Road Traffic Authority) and one for these terms (Brøndby Driving School’s terms).

Data Protection

From the Danish Data Protection Agency’s “Frequently Asked Questions”:

“Is an image considered personal data? Yes, if it is an image of an identifiable person, it constitutes personal data covered by the data-protection rules.”

By accepting these terms, all students give consent that the driving school where they take their licence may publish identifiable images of them, which are covered by the data-protection rules.

Images are typically of the student after passing the practical test holding their newly obtained temporary driving licence, in front of the school car, or of the student in other teaching contexts.

If the student is under 18 years of age and therefore not of legal age, the parental authority holder(s) must consent to these terms.
