Full motorcycle
Large motorcycle licence (Category A)
Allows motorcycles without power restriction.
You are 24 years or older and complete instruction and exam on full MC
You are 22 years with 2 years of A2 experience and pass a practical exam on full MC
Medium motorcycle
Medium motorcycle licence (Category A2)
Allows motorcycles up to 35 kW (approx. 48 hp).
You are 20 years or older and complete instruction and exam on medium MC
You are 20 years with 2 years of A1 experience and pass a practical exam on medium MC

Upgrade from A2 to A
From medium to large motorcycle — a short course quickly done.
Already have an A2 licence? You can easily upgrade to large motorcycle (category A) if:
- You've had A2 for at least 2 years, or
- You are 24 years or older
Included in the package:
- Exam fee to Road Safety Authority
- Track rental for the practical exam
- 2 road lessons — typically a few days before the exam
